Skateboarding vs. Snowboarding
This is a battle where no one wins. You think it's fun. Then you fail. Ouch. Then you are over it. Yesterday I absolutely got destroyed at the skate park (like maybe I won't skateboard any more). Tomorrow I am trying my luck at snowboarding. Past experience shows that I get hurt way more snowboarding then I do skateboarding. Let's see what happens. Should be fun.

American Idol is American Over for me...
I am almost over this show. The new judge drives me crazy. How scripted can you make 'American Idol?' The first two weeks of the show have focused solely on the new judge and how annoying she can be... Plus five vocal performances. My favorite show is turning into 'Lost' (burned). Get it... A show that drags on for too many seasons and eventually looses its appeal... (ouch). That's all I have to say.

This week I...
This week I...-Watched American Idol twice
-Bought a house
-Got all excited about the new season of Flight of the Conchords
-Drank way to many iced mocha's (All free for me thanks to gift cards)
-Didn't shave
-Worked harder than normal
-Listened to American Top 40 every morning (why would I do that?)
-Fixed my car, transferred the pink slip into my name, and registered in until 2010
-Dreamed about being other places besides my desk... Like surfing?
-Didn't blog at all
Yours Truly,
John Denton

My Bicycle Commute.
My Bicycle Commute is just like my drive to work in my car but instead I am on my bike. My car is getting much needed work so for the moment I just have my bike. Which is ok with me. This mornings ride: Drop off red box rental, get Starbucks, and go to office.

They made it.
Hello friends and family!
Greetings! We arrived safe and sound here yesterday afternoon after a long flight (and a stopover in very cold Paris). We spent the rest of the day getting settled, going out for our first real food (the plane ride didn't count...), and then took a spin through the local "medina" (i.e. market). We were overwhelmed and thrilled by the sights, sounds, and smells of the country - everything from hanging meat, speeding mopeds, crazy drivers, and not understanding the language. Today we took it easy and learned more about Arabic and the culture.
Here are some prayer requests:
-That our group would be able to get caught up on rest and remain healthy.
-That we would be able to interact more with the people and learn as much as we can about their culture.
-That we would be kept safe in the rest of our travels and thoroughly enjoy and learn from our time here.
Thank you so much! We will keep you updates as we are able (internet is limited). If you would like to send us a quick message, you may reply to this e-mail address and we will hopefully be able to check it soon. Bslama! ("Peace be with you.")
Blessings,
Skyler, Kerri, Steven, Colby, Amanda, Danica, Juli, and Rosetta
I can't wait to see a few pictures.
