Every time I show up on Sundays morning and begin to prepare for a full day of hanging out with the youth of Central Community, I realize that I am the luckiest person on planet earth. I have the opportunity to show these youth the love of Jesus not just on Sundays but through out the week, whether at the skate park on Wednesday or while playing volleyball Sunday night. The odds are that I am not going to change a student’s life over the period of one service, or one trip to the skate park. After spending time with these youth over and over again and showing them an example of how they can live their lives through the lifestyle I live, and after building a credible relationship with these students, change just may take part in their life. That change is what I hope and pray for every day. While surfing the net or watching MTV I realize that today more than every youth need change, and I believe God is going to make it happen!
