An email from Phil Hamer (Cousin, friend, and blog reader):My dad, Dan Hamer (as pictured), has been nominated as one of Major League Baseball’s “All Stars Among Us”, he is up against two other potential “all stars”, whoever receives the most votes will be honored at the 2009 All Star game and featured in an article in People magazine.
